Each sailplane must have a registration tag, for which both the position and size are prescribed - depending on the country of registration.
The glider may be equipped with a competition label.
The flag of the country, in which the glider is registered, is not obligatory in all countries.
The color of the label is individualised, however, only lighter shades may be used. We choose the colours from RAL scale or other color scales if required.
Type name of the glider shall be printed on the edge of the cockpit, often in combination with decorative color tags.
Different techniques are used for the application of registration and other labels:
- labels can be painted with two-component acrylic paint,
- screen-printed,
- cut from adhesive foil and affixed to the surface.
